  • Our tutoring is almost entirely virtual. That helps us work around students’ busy schedules and enhance our tutoring with virtual tools.

  • No, our tutors have the option to tutor classes as well. It’s not required for a position at Franklin Yard, but we greatly value tutors with the breadth to handle group tutoring.

  • Yes! We have a promotion and raise scheme that ensures tutors can earn pay raises as they gain experience tutoring with our students.

    Some of our most experienced tutors have also taken on hybrid positions, expanding to tutor mentoring, curriculum design, or service coordination.

  • There are no hard and fast hours requirements.

    However, in our experience, those who tutor infrequently struggle to keep their skills sharp and knowledge up-to-date.

    Accordingly, we look for tutors who can tutor at least 35 hours monthly.

  • No. Tutoring is your profession, and we have no interest in keeping you from what you love to do.

    We only ask that you respect the relationships we’ve built with our families and partners and refrain from soliciting them during and for a period after your time with us.
